Frida, a young trans girl, moves from Florida to Chicago in search of herself while, across an ocean of time, Frida's mother is immigrating from Belize. By way of sharp poetic language, animated capitalist iconography and large-looming influences of magical realism, BRITISH HONDURAS FANTASY wrestles with the displacement necessary for identity formation.
